Rev. Nils Kleven, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, has received a call from the "Army Camp Committee" of the Norwegian Lutheran Church of America to serve as army pastor at Camp Dodge, Des Moines, Iowa. The local congregation has given unanimous consent that he be granted an indefinite leave of absence to devote his time to this work. While co-operating with the Y. M. C. A. and the army chaplains it will be his special care to provide for the spiritual welfare of the men affiliated with the Lutheran church. Rev. Mr. Kleven is splendidly qualified by temperament for this type of work and his friends will wish him success in his new duties upon which he expects to enter next week.
