Goodsell Observatory with carriage on roof, Carleton College
Description
Goodsell Observatory at Carleton College with a large pine tree in front. A buggy sitting on the roof of the building has a sign that reads"JOPP[A] to JERUS[ALEM]." The buggy belonged to Professor Arthur H. Pearson, who taught Philosophy and Biblical Literature, with whom the phrase was associated. Students put his buggy on the roof on Halloween night.
