The BLANK River near Yathayh Village. In order to cross the river, you must remove your luggage from your car and cross the bridge under construction on foot or by motorcycle. The bridge is not strong enough to support vehicles. Vehicles are weighed down by luggage, which means they cannot cross the river unless the luggage is removed. Frustrated by perceived neglect from the government, the monastery near this river raised funds to build a bridge over the river at a cost of over 1,000 USD. Until this bridge was constructed, many villages would be trapped for periods of time because vehicles regularly got stuck in the river, especially during the rainy season. It was therefore difficult to get to Andaw Village and others villages in the region during the rainy season. A school run by the same monks that raised the funds for the bridge can be seen near the river.
