S. A. T. C. soldiers moving the beds of influenza patients in front of Old Main Hall
Description
Black-and-white photograph of a group of men moving white beds on a sidewalk through the trees in front of Old Main Hall. During the influenza epidemic of the fall of 1918 at St. Olaf College, Old Main turned into the barracks and Hoyme Chapel and Ytterboe Hall became quarantined hospitals. Members of the Student Army Training Corps (S. A. T. C.) literally moved all the beds.
